How grateful I am that the Providence Diocese has provided us this opportunity to thank you, good and faithful shepherd. Well done. Thank you, Lord, for this dear man’s life and ministry. Dear Holy Father,
Thank you for your answer of yes when called to be the servant of all. Thank you for opening the door that allowed the Tridentine Mass to be celebrated everywhere. Thank you for all you have done these past eight years and the many, many prior years of faithful service.
We love you and will miss you being our shepherd. But we are looking forward to reading the books that you will be writing.
